This role reports directly to the General Manager – Cricket and focuses on managing international cricket matches, applying ICC playing conditions, and ensuring compliance with playing codes and policies. Key Responsibilities

The Manager – Cricket Operations will be responsible for a broad range of activities including:

  • Arranging meetings, preparing cricket papers, and writing minutes for the Chief Executives’ Committee (CEC) and Men’s Cricket Committee (MCC).

  • Drafting and updating standard playing conditions for bilateral cricket and ICC Events.

  • Managing the Illegal Bowling Actions Program, including assessments, budgets, and database records.

  • Handling reports on Code of Conduct breaches, over rates, and maintaining player demerit records.

  • Overseeing Clothing and Equipment Regulations, ensuring compliance, and approving designs/logos.

  • Managing approvals for cricket clothing and equipment manufacturers.

  • Coordinating the preparation and production of the ICC Playing Handbook.

  • Supervising Player Rankings contracts and ensuring timely payments.

  • Managing end-of-tour reports, pitch/outfield reports, and venue approvals for international matches.

  • Overseeing the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern (DLS) system, contracts, and distribution of updated software.

  • Preparing and reviewing the annual Cricket Operations budget.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or an equivalent qualification (preferred).

  • 5–7 years of experience working in operations within elite sports.

  • Experience engaging with national and international sports bodies.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with excellent stakeholder management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, databases, scheduling tools, and cricket scoring platforms.
