Job Role: Data Entry Assistant

As a Data Entry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely data management within the finance and operations team. The position involves working closely with internal departments and external partners, focusing on maintaining accurate records and supporting efficient payment processes for tourists and clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify invoices submitted by tourists and ensure approval from the relevant departments.

  • Accurately record invoice details into Excel spreadsheets and internal systems on a daily and weekly basis.

  • Monitor and process tourist payments regularly, ensuring smooth and timely transactions.

  • Perform weekly reconciliations to verify that all data has been accurately recorded and accounted for.

  • Prepare and submit weekly reports containing detailed tourist-related information to management.

  • Assist in preparing monthly invoices and summaries for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Handle tourist inquiries professionally, providing information about invoices, payments, and refund procedures.

  • Support internal teams with data and documentation as needed.

  • Perform additional administrative duties assigned by management.


Who You Are

To succeed in this role, Planet Dubai is looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in data management.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration).

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, accounting support, or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to handle large volumes of data.

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information responsibly.

  • Adaptable, with a proactive approach to challenges and changes.
