Role Overview
The Office Assistant is the first point of contact for visitors, guests, and applicants. The role involves offering clear guidance, answering basic inquiries, and ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere at the reception area. In addition to front-desk duties, the Office Assistant provides essential administrative support to ensure efficient workflow throughout the office. The position requires someone who is proactive, well-presented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the main reception desk by responding to calls, greeting visitors, and directing individuals to the correct department.

Ensure visitors and applicants are comfortable while waiting and provide refreshments when required.

Deliver documents, mail, and internal messages efficiently across the office.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and common areas.

Assist HR and other departments with photocopying, filing, and document organization to streamline internal processes.

Sort, distribute, and handle incoming mail and courier packages.

Prepare outgoing courier shipments and operate fax machines when needed.

Support general office operations and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Required Qualifications

A high school certificate or diploma in any stream.

Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.

Physically fit and dynamic, with the ability to move frequently throughout the office.

Basic computer and office equipment operation skills.

English language proficiency is required; Arabic knowledge is an added advantage.

Recommended age: under 30 years.
Experience Needed

1–2 years of experience in an office support or administrative role is preferred.

Ability to categorize and manage documents effectively.

Strong understanding of task prioritization and workflow organization.

Capable of working independently with office machinery.
