About the Role
At Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (EWL), the team plays a crucial role in supporting Emirates Maintenance operations. The department ensures that aircraft maintenance teams have timely and accurate access to essential spare parts, materials, and tools. EWL’s comprehensive services cover receiving, stocking, issuing, and delivering critical components — ensuring maintenance tasks run seamlessly and on schedule.
As a Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant, you will assist in executing daily support tasks that help maintain the smooth flow of operations within the Emirates Maintenance Supply Chain. Your contributions will help ensure that all tools, materials, and logistics requests are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:

Carry out daily warehouse and logistics activities in assigned areas such as Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support, and Spares Distribution.

Perform essential tasks including picking, packing, sorting, stocking, transporting, and pre-loading materials.

Support Warehouse and Logistics Assistants and Senior Assistants to ensure efficient and timely completion of departmental goals and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) to maintain safety, accuracy, and compliance.

Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and handheld devices to execute system transactions linked to warehouse and logistics functions.
This hands-on role is essential in ensuring Emirates’ aircraft maintenance operations continue to meet world-class safety and efficiency standards.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for the Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education: 10 years of schooling or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.

Skills: Basic English communication skills and good physical fitness.

Licences: A valid UAE Driver’s Licence or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) is an added advantage.

This is a Safety Sensitive Role, requiring attention to detail and adherence to operational safety standards at all times.
