Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction

Greet and welcome customers upon arrival

Ensure shopping tools and catalogues are readily available

Assist customers at the Returns & Exchange desk efficiently

Handle routine customer complaints politely and promptly
Cash Handling

Follow standard operating procedures for cash, card, and voucher transactions

Ensure 100% accuracy in recording transactions

Count and reconcile cash floats at opening and closing
Smaland Supervision

Explain Smaland admission policies clearly to parents

Ensure children’s safety within the play area
-
Communicate with parents if issues arise
Administrative & Operational Duties

Book IKEA services such as Home Delivery, Assembly, and Measurement

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports

Support store performance analysis through accurate reporting
Returns & Exchange Management

Handle returns and exchanges within authority levels

Escalate product safety or quality issues when identified

Brief Duty Managers on complex complaints requiring intervention
Skills and Qualifications
