Job Purpose
As a Junior Storekeeper (Driver), you will support the Distribution Centre Storekeeper in the receipt, issuance, and delivery of stock to various departments across the organization. This includes managing deliveries to the cargo village for overseas dispatches and assisting in the physical organization and maintenance of warehouse facilities. The role combines warehouse operations with driving responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse and Inventory Support

Assist in counting, checking, and receiving goods into stock

Place items into appropriate shelves and stock locations
-
Support senior storekeepers in preparing purchase requisitions to meet departmental demand
Delivery and Dispatch Duties

Deliver and collect materials from internal user departments

Handle shipment deliveries to the cargo village for overseas dispatch

Assist in packaging and distribution of uniforms, promotional, and non-stock items to outstations and events
Administrative Assistance

Provide clerical support, including filing receipt and issue vouchers

Maintain accurate documentation related to stock movement and deliveries

Assist with dispatch activities and ensure timely distribution of materials
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum education: 10 years of schooling or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a general distribution or warehouse environment

Driving: Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
-
Communication: Effective spoken and written English communication skills
