Overview of the Role
The Warehouse Specialist position plays a critical role in supporting the Parts Operations team at Al-Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO. The role is responsible for the accurate and safe handling of automotive spare parts, including receiving, sorting, storing, packing, and dispatching. By ensuring error-free operations and adherence to productivity, quality, and safety standards, the Warehouse Specialist directly contributes to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will:

Receive and deconsolidate incoming automotive spare parts and accessories

Sort, pack, and ship parts according to approved handling and packaging standards

Store inventory in an organized and easily accessible manner

Reconcile physical stock with system records and report discrepancies

Perform bin stock replenishment to support uninterrupted operations

Follow special handling instructions for specific customer or internal orders

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment

Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a Warehouse Specialist, candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize part numbers and alphanumeric codes, and a clear understanding of standard operating procedures. Basic computer literacy, physical stamina, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required are essential. A high school education or equivalent, previous warehouse or logistics experience, and the ability to perform basic math calculations will further support success in this role.
About the Team
The Warehouse Specialist will join the Parts Support team, working closely with warehouse colleagues, logistics teams, and parts operations staff. The team operates in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence to support both internal and external customers.
